If I was up at home in Scotland I’d beat a path to the Kinneuchar Inn, which I love. It’s just brilliant. That was such a genius move of James (Ferguson) and Alethea (Palmer) - they’re great pals from way back, much as we miss them here. Kinneuchar feels a lot like Rochelle Canteen but in Scotland, which I think is incredibly special and wonderful. It’s important that these things are far reaching. Much as I’m very capital-centric, it’s great to know that outside London there are more and more places with the confidence to run those sorts of menus.
