Ha, I don’t know about a wildcard but well, a very, very favourite ploy is to jump a clipper, and view London from the river, thinking either to disembark at the City and wander up to Sweetings or continue to Canary Wharf and step straight into Royal China. Chopsticks ahoy. Or that marvellous old pub in Limehouse, The Grapes.
