Central · Hong Kong
Big JJ opened in 2020 down a dead-end lane off Lan Kwai Fong and has since moved into the basement of Landmark Prince’s, where it runs as a cheap canteen for breakfast and lunch and turns into a live-seafood hotpot restaurant at night, with a bar from local whisky bottler Club Qing tucked inside. Four people who run bars and bakeries of their own in Hong Kong have put it on their lists — none of them has a stake in it.

Very solid playlist. It's very on-brand. And they take requests as well.

The reason why I like it is because it's a restaurant made by Hong Kong people for Hong Kong people.

Fun, loud and delicious — just like Hong Kong.
