Bleecker began in 2012 as a burger truck run by Zan Kaufman, a New York lawyer who had moved to London; the Soho shop at 33 Old Compton Street is the group's eighth site. In June 2026 World's 101 Best Burger Places ranked it the best burger restaurant in the world.
