Dough Hands began as Hannah Drye's market stall in Brixton in 2020 and still has no restaurant of its own: it cooks out of pub kitchens, and its east London home is the Spurstowe Arms in Hackney. The pizzas are crisp-based and New York-leaning, and Time Out ranked its Jode seventh on a 2025 list of the best pizzas in the world. The crowd naming it is an odd one for a pub residency — working chefs, an Infatuation critic, and a run of actors and comedians.

Either way the thin pies are excellent. Our favourite is the aforementioned tomato pie, followed closely by the citrussy, spicy tuna.

I would never normally order a tuna pizza, but Dough Hands delivered it to us once and it was phenomenal.

Going to Hammersmith is like going to a conference in Hamburg because I'm East, but Dough Hands is amazing.

Hannah knows what she's doing when it comes to pizza. She has a pizza called the Jode, and a tuna pizza.

The marinara with the add-ons and you get a bit of the Calabrian chilli on top as well. It is fit.

It's got this like crispy base, like semolina around it. Unique. Love it.
