Chauncy. I went not long after they opened, and I still haven’t forgotten those comté gougères. And not to mention their Wedgwood plates and the beautiful tapestry on the wall. I feel as though what they do is the closest to what I, at least, feel is true hospitality. Another visit is long overdue.

It really feels like an extension of [owners Tess Murray and Louis Naepels’s] home. The way their roles dance together in food and wine is something very special, and I love a little walk in the veggie garden to break up the meal.
