I really like Pitshanger Bakery in Ealing, where I live. It’s simple and good; I always buy their baguettes and croissants. The brownies are also very good as a special treat.
There are three Pitshanger bakeries in Ealing and they are all just as good. In the mornings, this is where I come to pick up a baguette and some croissants. Sometimes I get brownies as a special treat, they are the perfect density. Very chocolatey and satisfying.
