Row on 5 in Mayfair is one of my favourites. The sleek interior pairs beautifully with a modern British menu. Jason Atherton opened it in November 2024 and I went with my business partner at Christmas – everything was immaculate. Each dish was clean, elegant and executed to perfection. The whole experience was carefully considered: we started with canapés downstairs, were then shown into a private room through a beautiful walk-in cellar and finally dined upstairs overlooking the open kitchen.

I was very impressed when I went to Row on 5, which is Jason Atherton and Spencer Metzger’s new restaurant on Savile Row – mainly because of the ludicrous opulence of the space.
