Terms & Community Guidelines

These terms govern your use of GoodFinds. By creating an account or continuing to use the app, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

Using GoodFinds

GoodFinds brings together picks from chefs, critics and people who’d know, on one map. It lets you save, rank, and share places, follow publications and creators, and follow other people. You’re responsible for the content you create — the display name and username you choose, the lists you share, and anything you submit. You sign in with Apple or Google; you’re responsible for activity under your account.

Choosing a username makes you findable by other signed-in users. What a follower can see of your lists is controlled by you in Settings, and is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Community guidelines — zero tolerance

GoodFinds has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable is not allowed, and neither is abusive behaviour toward others.

Specifically, you agree not to:

Post objectionable content in any field others can see — including your display name, your username, or a list you share;
Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other people, including by following or messaging them;
Upload content you don’t have the right to share, or spam / manipulate the service.

Reporting, blocking & enforcement

You can report objectionable content from inside the app, and block the person or source behind it:

A post or comment — the ⋯ menu on a post in the feed or on its own page reports it; long-press a comment to report it. Blocking the author removes everything of theirs from your feed.
A person — the ⋯ menu on their profile lets you report or block them. Blocking is mutual in effect: neither of you sees the other on GoodFinds, any follow between you is removed, and they immediately lose access to your lists.
A publication or creator — the ⋯ menu on their page reports or blocks them, and their picks stop appearing for you.
A place — the flag icon on the place page.

We act on reports within 24 hours: we remove violating content and may suspend or remove abusive users, without notice. To report something you can’t reach in the app, email rubykctang@gmail.com.

Content & accuracy

Place information (names, addresses, photos, ratings) comes from third-party sources such as Google and is provided “as is.” GoodFinds isn’t responsible for the accuracy of that data or for your experience at any venue.

Your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account, which permanently removes your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
