4 people who'd know recommend Sun Hon Kee Restaurant

Fanling · Hong Kong

Sun Hon Kee is a Hakka restaurant in Fanling, up in the New Territories near the mainland border, run by chef So Wai Hon — it spent about twenty years in Luen Wo Market before moving to its current room in 2019. It is known for mui choi kau yuk and for oyster pancakes made with oysters from nearby Starling Inlet. The people below all cook or write about food in Central or Sheung Wan, an hour away, and still make the trip.
