Michelin 2-star · Manhattan · New York
Atomix is Junghyun “JP” Park and Ellia Park’s Korean tasting counter on East 30th Street in NoMad, holding two Michelin stars and, in 2025, first place on North America’s 50 Best Restaurants. The praise here is not from critics. Three of the four people naming it run New York dining rooms of their own — Daniel Boulud, Eric Ripert and Jean-Georges Vongerichten — and the fourth named it from London.

Atomix is a sleek and beautiful chef’s counter lead by Chef JP, who brings a creative spin on Korean classics.

I love Atomix because the refinement of the service, food, and Arts de la Table is unique.

If I want to go for a tasting menu, I go to Atomix. It’s twelve little dishes, super-inspired. You can only go with two people or else you can’t even talk because it’s a counter. It’s for fourteen seats, and they have two seatings a night. We go and just have a delightful meal.
